Corporate Sustainability Program
We have assumed Sustainability as part of our business strategy and, through our Corporate Sustainability Program, we reinforce our commitment to the future of new generations, creating the ideal context for the ultra-low-cost aviation business to continue being an engine of development and a source of employment for many years to come.
This program is made up of three approaches: Economic and Corporate Governance Focus, Planet Care Focus and People Care Focus.
Volaris is proud to be part of the Dow Jones Sustainability MILA Pacific Alliance Index.
This index measures the performance of best-in-class companies who are members of the S&P MILA Pacific Alliance Composite and meet certain sustainability requirements better than their peers within a given industry.

Volaris has been a member of the BMV / S & P Total Mexico ESG Index since June 2021. This Index, which uses the S&P methodology, includes public companies in Mexico that have the best environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) practices. Volaris is one of 29 companies in the Index.

Volaris was once again recognized by the prestigious Airlineratings.com site as one of the safest airlines in the world, being the safest ultra-low-cost airline in Latin America.

Volaris, in alliance with ECPAT (End Child Prostitution, Child Pornography and Trafficking of Children for Sexual Purposes) is committed to sustainable tourism and the development of solutions that prevent and combat crimes related to the commercial sexual exploitation of children and adolescents in travel and tourism (SECTT).

A distinction awarded annually by the Mexican Center for Philanthropy (CEMEFI) and ALIARSE that accredits companies in the eyes of their employees, investors, clients, authorities and society in general, as an organization voluntarily and publicly committed to socially responsible management as part of its culture and business strategy.

Volaris joined the list of companies awarded with the Safe Travels Stamp, conferred by the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) which will help to restore travelers' trust. The biosecurity measures adopted by the airline since May 20 are aligned with the recommendations issued by the International Air Transport
Association (IATA), the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

Volaris is the first airline to receive the Tourism Safety Stamp of the City of Mexico for the early and successful implementation of its Biosecurity Protocol.

Volaris was awarded the certificate of good health practices by the head of the Secretariat of Tourism Development of Yucatan for the excellent work carried out by Volaris in caring for travelers under the best quality standards and health measures.
Policies and Declarations
Volaris, as an ultra-low-cost airline, dedicated to the air transport of passengers, cargo and mail, assumes the commitment with its clients, investors and other stakeholders to comply with the applicable regulations and standards (ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / IOSA ), through its Integrated Airline Management System (IAMS); promote a positive aviation safety and security culture; as well as:
· Provide the necessary resources for the implementation of this policy and maintain the continuous improvement of the Volaris organization, this system, and its environmental performance.
· Periodically review this policy to ensure its continued relevance to the organization and support its strategic direction.
· Provide products and services that meet the requirements and expectations of our customers.
· Protect the environment and prevent pollution, measure, and reduce our CO2 emissions, properly manage the waste from our activities, contribute to the protection of biodiversity and adapt us to the effects of climate change.
