How to change your flight

Add More Flexibility

For just $ 4.99 USD, you can add the More Flexibility combo to your flight, which allows you to make unlimited time and/or date changes in case you need to adjust your travel plans, paying only for the difference in fare.

Consider that you can't make changes:

    If you have already printed your boarding pass or have done Mobile Check-in.

    If you haven't fully paid for your reservation.

Itinerary change


• If you make a change to your itinerary on the website, it will apply to all customers included on the reservation.

• When changing the route of your flights, you can't change the country of origin.

Considerations for round trip flights:

• When your outbound flight has already departed, you can only change the time and date of your return flight.

• If you wish to change the origin or destination of one of your flights, remember to make the corresponding changes to the other.

Name change

Keep in Mind

With this service, you have the option of changing the name on your ticket until 4 hours before your flight. To acquire it, you must call the Call Center, pay the corresponding fee, and an agent will make the requested name change.

When booking your flight, you can add the More Flexibility Combo to have the option of changing the name without additional fees.

Once you have purchased your flight, verify that your details are correct and for international flights, confirm that they appear exactly as they do on your travel documents.

The service is not available if:

· You have already checked in.

· You purchased your flight with Volaris electronic credit.

· Your flight has begun, and you did not show up for a segment of it.

· You want to change an adult ticket to a ticket for a minor or for an unaccompanied elderly person.


Cancellations are not permitted

If you don't use your ticket for the indicated flight, it cannot be reimbursed, nor can it be used for the requested service on another flight or reservation. The ticket is non-transferable.

For flights to and from the United States, you can cancel or change your reservation within the 24 hours following your purchase without any fees or penalties so long as the flight was booked 7 or more days before the departure date.

What happens if a flight is canceled?

If a flight is canceled, delayed, or if you miss a connection due to delay or cancellation, you will be rebooked on the next available flight as soon as possible.
