Travel documents
Flights within Mexico
Mexicans must present a valid and original photo ID (photocopied and digital documents are not accepted)

Flights to Mexico
All passengers must present a valid passport and visa if applicable.

Foreigners must also present the Multiple Immigration Form, a.k.a tourist card or tourist permit, and your return ticket. We recommend you carry printed proof of your stay in Mexico.
Important information for Venezuelan citizens
You must present a valid visa and proof of your return ticket.
Important information for Colombian citizens
You must fill out an electronic precheck with personal and immigration information to enter Mexico.

After completing your precheck, the system will send you a QR code and the FFM form to your email. You must save both documents, print and present them at the airport of origin.
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months.
DNR Payment
If you are a foreigner, remember that you must pay the DNR tax or Right of Visitor without permission to undertake lucrative activities or paid employment, as requested by the Mexican government.
If you are Mexican living abroad, you may present any of the following Mexican accreditation documents to be exempt from paying the DNR:

Important information for Venezuelan citizens
You must present a valid visa and your return ticket to enter the country.
Important information for Colombian, Nicaraguan, and Cuban citizens
You must provide the following:
■ Colombians and Nicaraguans: a passport with a minimum validity of 3 months.
■ Cubans: a passport with a minimum validity of 6 months.
■ Consular visa
■ Return ticket
Connecting flights: citizens of Venezuela, Colombia, Nicaragua, and Cuba with connecting flights in Costa Rica must present a transit visa.
Important information for Guatemalan and Honduran citizens
You must present a passport with a minimum validity of 3 months.

Documents required to enter Colombia
Colombians and residents

■ Residency (if it applies)
■ Check-Mig form. You must fill out the online form between 48 hours and 1 hour before your flight and present the confirmation email to the customs officer.
Foreigners
■ Valid passport (minimum validity of 90 days)
■ Check-Mig form. You must fill out the online form between 48 hours and 1 hour before your flight and present the confirmation email to the customs officer.
■ Return ticket (preferably airline ticket)
■ Visa (depending on your nationality)

Documents required to enter Honduras
All passengers, including Honduran citizens, must present a valid passport.
Customs form:
Since March 27, 2023, the customs form must be filled out online, and you can do it up to 3 days before your trip. Save the confirmation message to present upon your arrival at the airport.
Immigration form:
All passengers must fill out the pre-check form online.
Documents required to enter Peru
Peruvians and residents
■ Valid Passport*
■ Valid residency (if it applies)
*Peruvian citizens may present an expired passport to enter the country
Foreign tourists
■ Passport (it must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the return date)
■ Valid visa (if it applies). See the nationalities that require a visa
Citizens of South American countries
Citizens of Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, Ecuador, Colombia, Bolivia, and Chile may present their national identification document or card to enter Peru.
Minors from Colombia may show their identification card.
Use of a face mask on board
Wearing a face mask on board is optional on all Volaris routes.
If you present COVID-19 or flu symptoms during the flight, we recommend you wear a face mask.
We continue to carry out other biosecurity measures so you can travel safely:
- All our aircraft have HEPA filters, which recycle 100% of the air in the cabin every three minutes and remove 99.9% of viruses and bacteria
- We carry out deep cleaning of the cabin before each flight and disinfect every surface inside the aircraft with industrial-grade cleaning products.
- We disembark the plane in a controlled manner by row to guarantee a healthy distance.
