To travel in the cabin, pets must have a maximum weight of 22 lbs. (10 kg) (pet + kennel), have the required health certificates, be harmless and odorless, and must not require any attention during the flight. You must bring it in a fully closed kennel that allows it to stand and have enough space to move around.
Remember that by order of the DGAC authorities, pets on board must be located under the seat in front of you. If you are traveling with a dog, it may go on a soft or rigid kennel and you must travel in a window seat. If you are traveling with a cat, the kennel must be rigid and you can only travel in the airplane’s last row window seat
An Animal Health Certificate (original and copy) issued by a certified veterinarian, and no more than 5 days before the flight's start date
Inmunization certificate including rabies shot (less than one year from the date the shot was given to the animal and at least 30 days before the flight date; except puppies less than 3 months old)

First, you must go to the Volaris counters to do check-in and present your pet’s documents. Then, a Volaris agent will direct you to the boarding gate

2 small cabin bags and 1 checked baggage
- On routes to/from USA and Puerto Rico: 2 small cabin bags
- On routes within Central America: 2 small cabin bags
