Change of plans

If you need to change your flight, you can do it on My trips, by covering the difference in fare and the corresponding fee.


If you need to change your itinerary, make sure to do so:

    At least 4 hours before the departure 

    You can make changes up to 4 hours before the flight.

    Before you check in

    Changes are not allowed once you have your boarding pass.

    Once you fully paid for your reservation

    Changes are not allowed if you only made a partial payment.


Select the flights you want to change.


Choose the origin, destination, and desired date.


Select your new flights.


Add the additional services you require.


Complete your payment (change fee, the difference in fare, and/or additional services) and enjoy your trip!

Itinerary change


• If you make a change to your itinerary on the website, it will apply to all customers included on the reservation.

• When changing the route of your flights, you can't change the country of origin.

Considerations for round trip flights:

• When your outbound flight has already departed, you can only change the time and date of your return flight.

• If you wish to change the origin or destination of one of your flights, remember to make the corresponding changes to the other.

Name change

Keep in Mind

With this service, you have the option of changing the name on your ticket until 1:30 hours before your flight. To acquire it, you must call the Call Center, pay the corresponding fee, and an agent will make the requested name change.

Once you have purchased your flight, verify that your details are correct and for international flights, confirm that they appear exactly as they do on your travel documents.

The service is not available if:

· You purchased your flight with Volaris electronic voucher.

· Your flight has begun, and you did not show up for a segment of it.

· You want to change an adult ticket to a ticket for a minor or for an unaccompanied elderly person.



For bookings made in the last 24 hours, you may request a refund to the original payment method in My Trips.

You will have to enter your reservation code, and the last name registered at the moment of your purchase and click on the Cancel Flight tab.

For any refund, your reservation will need to be seven days away from departure for international flights and 24 hours for domestic flights.

What happens if a flight is canceled?

If a flight is canceled, delayed, or if you miss a connection due to delay or cancellation, you will be rebooked on the next available flight as soon as possible.
