Important flight information

Get ready for your next trip and check the most relevant information about your domestic or international flight before arriving at the airport.

Domestic flights in Mexico

Print your boarding pass or check in from your phone:
From 72 (seventy-two) hours and up to 1 (one) hour before your flight.

Personal attention:
If you don't want to print your boarding pass, you can go directly to the counter, and we will help you print it.
An additional charge applies.

Arrive at the airport:
On domestic flights you must arrive at least 2 (two) hours before your flight.

Show your documents:
It is essential that you show a valid official identification (INE credential or Passport).

In case of NOT checking in baggage:
Go straight to the boarding room and present your documents. Remember that your personal item must fit under your seat and the measurements of your carry-on baggage must not exceed in size and weight, otherwise an additional charge will apply. Check permitted baggage sizes and weights baggage here.

In case of YES to checking in baggage:
Check in 1 (one) hour and a half before your flight at counters and present your documents. Remember, if your checked baggage weighs more than 25 kg, an extra charge will apply. Check permitted baggage sizes and weights.

Show up at your boarding gate (departure lounge):
On domestic flights you must show up 45 minutes before your flight. Remember that if you don't show up with this time, you may miss your flight.

 

Verify what additional documents you need to travel with:
Infant(s), Unaccompanied Minor(s), Services for Individuals with Special Needs, Pet, Service Animals, Sports Equipment, Musical Instruments, or Restricted Items. Remember, it is your obligation as a passenger to inform you of the immigration, sanitary, and or health requirements necessary to travel, as published by the official media of the Government of Mexico or of the country of origin and destination of your flight.

International flights in the US, Central, and South America

Print your boarding pass or check in from your phone:
From 24 (twenty-four) hours and up to 1 (one) hour before your flight.

Arrive at the airport:
On international flights you must arrive at least 3 (three) hours before your flight.

Show your documents:
Official identification, passport, visa (if necessary) and health related documents (if the country of origin or destination requires it), as well as any other necessary documents or information to be allowed to board. Remember that it is the passenger's responsibility to show and comply with the necessary requirements to be allowed to board and to enter the destination country.
