The new Flex Fare gives you even more ways to fly with Volaris. Customize your trip with the benefits that work best for you, from baggage and seat selection to unlimited flight changes and travel protection, all in one fare.

Customize your fare by selecting one option from each benefit category:

1.Baggage or Seat Benefit

Carry-on bag 
Maximum dimensions: 55 × 40 × 25 cm (each).

 15 kg (33 lb) checked bag 

 Standard seat selection
Select your seat when booking to secure this benefit. Subject to availability.

2.Travel Benefit

 Unlimited flight date or time changes
Flight changes may be subject to fare differences.

Travel protection

Extra 10 kg (22 lb) of checked baggage
The extra 10 kg will be added to any checked baggage purchased separately. If you select the 15 kg checked bag benefit with your Flex Fare, the additional 10 kg will be added to it, for a total of 25 kg.

Your Flex Fare already includes:

 Personal item (must fit under the seat in front of you)
For example: handbags, briefcases, or laptop bags.

Domestic flight check-in: Starting 5 days before departure

International flight check-in: Starting 24 hours before departure

Which flights is the Flex Fare available for?

The Flex Fare is available on flights operated by Volaris. You can check its availability when searching for and booking your flight on the Volaris website or app.

Can I choose different benefits for each passenger?

No. The benefits you select with the Flex Fare apply to all passengers on your reservation and to all flights or segments included in it. This way, everyone can enjoy the same benefits throughout their trip.

Can I change my benefits after booking?

No. You can change your selections during the booking process, but once your reservation is confirmed, you cannot change or remove them.

What happens if I choose a standard seat?

You must select your seat from the seat map during the booking process to keep this benefit. If you don't select a seat at that time, you will lose the benefit.

How does the extra 10 kg of checked baggage work?

To use this benefit, you must have a checked bag, which you can purchase separately. If you don't add a checked bag, you will lose the benefit without compensation.

Can I change my flight date or time?

If you selected unlimited changes, you can change your flight date or time according to the service's terms and conditions. Fare differences and other restrictions may apply.

If you didn't select unlimited changes, you can still change your flight date or time by paying a change fee plus any applicable fare difference.

Is the Flex Fare refundable?

The Flex Fare is generally non-refundable. Cancellations and compensation are subject to applicable policies and regulations.

What happens if Volaris changes my flight?

If your flight is rescheduled or you are rebooked on another flight, you will keep the benefits selected with your reservation.
