Message us at +52 55 5898 8599. Vane, our chatbot, will guide you through the process. Initially, it'll ask you to choose a language and then show you a menu with different options. Select "Get boarding pass" and follow the instructions.

Currently, Vane can assist with check-in for flights within Mexico only.

You can also check in directly at the airport counter for an additional cost, but we recommend doing it beforehand through our digital channels to save time.

When should you check in for your flight?

For domestic flights, you can check in 3, 5, and 7 days before departure for Zero, Basic, and the Plus fare, respectively. You can do so for international flights from 24 hours up to one hour before departure.

Your reservation code is your golden ticket to check in

To snag your boarding pass, always keep your reservation code close. It's a 6-character mix of letters and numbers created when you complete your purchase.

You'll find it in the confirmation email we zipped your way. Have you lost it? No sweat, drop us a message on WhatsApp, and we'll happily help you.

Got your boarding pass? What's next once you're at the airport?

If you're checking in baggage

Head to our counters to drop off your bags. Our team will assist you in tagging your baggage for identification and getting it onto the plane.

After you've dropped off your bags, make your way to the security checks, where airport staff will conduct a routine inspection. Be sure to check in advance the items you can't bring on the plane.

Once you've cleared security, you can proceed to the boarding gate.

Check in your bags for domestic flights at least 2 hours before departure; for international flights, do so 3 hours before taking off.

If you're not checking baggage

Head straight to the security checkpoints and proceed to the waiting area.

To find out your flight's departure gate, check your boarding pass in our app, which will keep you updated in real-time on any changes to your trip.

If you haven't downloaded it yet, it's available for both iOS and Android.

How early should you get to the boarding gate?

If your flight is domestic, aim to be in the final waiting area at least 45 minutes before departure; an hour prior is your best bet for international destinations.

Our team will let you know when it is time to board the plane. Just keep your boarding pass handy and stay alert for your group number.

Here are some more tips to make your trip the best experience

  • Before packing your bags, ensure you have all the necessary travel documents for your destination, and bring them with you on the day of your flight.
  • Arrive at the airport with plenty of time to spare for unforeseen delays. The airport handles security screening, which could take longer, especially during peak seasons.
  • If you carry electronics, valuables, medications, or essential documents, always keep them in your carry-on baggage.
  • Remember that liquids or gels over 3.4 ounces (100 ml) can only be transported in checked luggage. If you have any additional questions, please check our restricted baggage section.
