At Volaris, we value your flexibility. If your flight qualifies, we'll email you options to switch to an alternative flight and receive an electronic voucher. Here's how it works.
Receive the offer
You will receive the offer only if your flight qualifies, so check your inbox for our email. Alternatively, log into your reservation via My Trips to explore your options.
Choose your option
Select the alternative flight that best suits your plans.
Await confirmation
You will receive confirmation of your request and voucher within three hours. If not, you must board your original flight.
All you need to know
Your flight change will only be valid once Volaris confirms it via email after you've requested it.
The email containing the offer will detail the electronic voucher amount.
The voucher applies to the total reservation and is valid for 180 days. For more information, explore our guide on how to use your voucher.
If your reservation includes multiple passengers, the voucher amount will be divided equally, excluding infants.
If you have a round-trip ticket and receive an offer to change both flights, you can move just one and keep the other.
The "Change your flight" option applies to all passengers under the same reservation.
The offer is valid from when we send the email until 8 hours before the original flight's departure.
Any baggage or packages you added will stay on your new itinerary if your flight change is confirmed.
If you have selected a seat, you will keep it on your new flight if available; if not, you can choose another one at the applicable cost.
