How do I sign up for altitude, Volaris’ new loyalty program?
It’s super easy! If you already have a Volaris account, just:
1. Log in at volaris.com.
2. Complete your information and accept the terms, conditions, and privacy notice.
3. Confirm you’re not a robot.
That’s it! Now your flights will take you even higher.
What’s the minimum age to join?
You must be at least 18 years old to enroll in the program.
How do I earn points?
You earn points every time you purchase flights or additional services on volaris.com.
Please note: taxes, airport fees, and government charges do not earn points.
Which payment methods don’t earn points?
You won’t earn points if you pay with:
• PayPal
• Cash
• INVEX Wallet
• Electronic vouchers
• Payment codes
• Points
When will my points show up in my account?
Your points will appear in your account within 48 hours after your outbound flight.
What are the limits for earning points?
• Daily: up to 50,000 points
• Monthly: up to 250,000 points
• Per transaction: up to 50,000 points
Where can I use my points?
Points can be redeemed only on our official website, volaris.com, or in My Trips.
Please note: points cannot be redeemed through the app or travel agencies.
How do I use my points to pay for a flight or service?
1. Log in at volaris.com.
2. Choose your flight or service.
3. Select “Points” as your payment method.
4. If you don’t have enough points, pay the remaining balance with your card.
Can I pay for an entire flight with points?
Yes — as long as you have enough points. If not, you can combine your points with a card payment.
Note: points cannot be used to pay for taxes, airport fees, or government charges.
Is there a minimum number of points required to redeem them?
Yes — points can be redeemed in multiples of 10.
What are the limits for earning points?
• Daily: up to 50,000 points
• Monthly: up to 250,000 points
• Per transaction: up to 50,000 points
If I cancel a flight paid with points, do I get a refund?
Yes — if you meet the conditions (for example, cancel within 24 hours of purchase), your points will be refunded to your account within 10 business days.
Please note: points are not refundable as cash.
Do points expire?
Your points never expire, as long as you earn points at least once within two years of your last accumulation.
