Requirements for transporting human remains

Non-cremated human remains

Medical Certificate indicating that the deceased person did not die from an infectious or contagious disease.

Death Certificate (original and 2 copies).

Embalming Certificate with the seal of the funeral home and the signature of the issuing doctor (original and 2 copies).

Remains must have been buried for over six years to be exhumed.

Burial-Transit Permit (original and 2 copies).

For states where the corresponding authority in these matters does not issue one or more of these documents (for example, a Burial-Transfer Permit in Nuevo León), you must include documents supporting the fact along with the corresponding seals and signatures.

If the human remains have been subjected to a preliminary investigation, you must attach the Delivery of Remains authorization issued by the Public Prosecutor in the place of origin (domestic cargo only).

Restrictions and requirements for the transportation of live animals

1. Dogs and cats will not be accepted if they are lactating, sick, infected, dead, violent, sedated, under 4 months old, or pregnant.

2. Each carrier must have its own Airway Bill.

3. Only one dog or one cat per carrier will be allowed to be checked in, regardless of their age or weight.

4. Pets belonging to brachycephalic breeds are not allowed, which are animals with short, flat noses and proportionally wide heads. See the list of brachycephalic breeds here.

5. The maximum number of carriers that can be accepted on each flight is 4 (including pets in the cargo hold as well as those checked in). Before confirming the service and transporting your pet, our airport personnel will check if there is space available on the aircraft.

Recommendations for the transportation of live animals

□ Get the animal used to the container it will travel in. To do so, make sure it spends some time inside it several days before your trip.

□ Give it food and water 4 hours before the flight.

□ If it's a puppy, give it honey or syrup to help maintain an appropriate blood sugar level.

□ The carrier must contain the following identification labels: address, telephone number, feeding instructions, pet information (name, age, sex), if it is taking any medication and, if so, details about the medication.

Special requirements for the PER service:

In the case of wet loads (seafood, salted hides, meats, etc.), the packaging must not allow the emission of penetrating odors or the spillage of liquids.

Items that cannot be transported with this service:

• Infected live animals or dead animals, ivory, fertile eggs (HEG).
• Cargo that requires maintaining a frozen cold chain.
• Endangered wild or indigenous flora and fauna species without the corresponding necessary government permits.
• Perishable cargo that may visibly suffer deterioration due to changes in temperature, pressure, humidity or any ordinary exposure, or due to the duration of transportation. Additionally, shipments for which packing conditions and/or travel time are not adequate will not be accepted for transportation.

The following articles can´t be transported using these four types of Cargo and Courier services:

• Solvents, corrosives, and/or resins.
• Shipments containing any kind of infectious waste.
• Perfumes, toiletries, cosmetics, and cleaning products.
• Vehicles and motorcycles.
• High-value merchandise, jewelry, and money (cash or documents).
• Dry ice (UN 1845), though it can be substituted with gel ice.
• Wooden pallets for full-capacity loads.
